The mission of the Garland Water Utilities Laboratory (GWUL) is complete dedication to the production of high quality data at minimal cost, and to providing a convenient service for the City of Garland and all internal departments.
For 35 years, the GWUL has conducted analytical services for both wastewater treatment plants and various internal departments including Health and Electric.
Our staff (consisting of chemists and biologists) is fully conversant with prescribed regulatory agency procedures as set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
Analytical capabilities Include:
GWUL is accredited under the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) by the TCEQ for drinking water and wastewater. NELAP accreditation assures:
